Tree PONG II
At the end of the school year we were back with the Kiosk PONG on the Platz der Menschenrechte – this time at the PONG-Beach under the pine trees.

At the end of the school year we were back with the Kiosk PONG on the Platz der Menschenrechte. This time not down on the meadow but – luckily – on the upper gravelled area under the pines. Because while we would have sunk into the mud in the meadow in the rain, here around the kiosk gigantic puddles formed: PONG-beach.
At the PONG-beach, as with Tree PONG II, the tree trunks were transformed into a variety of objects. For example:
Spider-like tables with carved legs
A ladder made only from split wood without screws or nails
Several hammers, since they did not hold the splitting forever
A bench from recycling wood from our last Daglfing action
– Why does no one build a boat, anyway?
For those who didn’t want to build, there was the sewing machine, or painting and printing on textiles. Especially striking were prints made with found objects like pinecones!
Or simply drilling! Especially the younger children had great joy drilling wood chunks with a drill and turning them into insect hotels.
Above all, on the first three days with a bit more rain breaks, the self-built Ping-PONG board hardly rested and made Tree PONG II into a place where everyone could be creatively consumption-free, or just hang out – also thanks to Vallis' delicious almond cookies, which we were asked for several times.
